About

“Our most treasured family heirlooms are those tied in with sweet family memories.”

I create unique ceramics inspired by Jewish holidays and traditions as well as the beauty of Israel and Jerusalem which surround my studio.studio

I love designing one-of-a-kind affordable, ceramic works of art. The clay is from Italy; the glazes from all over the world; the creative energy in my studio near Jerusalem, Israel.

I am the owner and sole studio-artist at Jewish Heirlooms. I have been making and selling pottery since 2004. Although my formal education includes two masters degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, my education didn’t end there. I consider myself a professional studio ceramacist and potter.

My true love is designing and creating small, meaningful Jewish heirlooms for the next generation. I create items of sentimental value, enhancing the Sabbath and Holidays as well as Jewish life cycle events. I am committed to creating that special Jewish heirloom you will want to adorn your house or table. See my blog at www.jewishheirlooms.com

I make mostly Handbuilt and some Wheel-thrown Ceramics. Here is where you will find the Used Matches Box and the Passover Ten Plagues Plates; the sweet little dishes for salt and the personalized Bar and Bat Mitzvah gifts. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please convo me for a special order.keepsakebox

I love making things that represent my fresh and innovative creativity. Clay is a metaphor for life, and I put all my efforts into each piece I make for you.

Please read each listing carefully to learn about that piece. All my pottery is fired in an electric kiln to a mid-range temperature of 2000 degrees Farenheit. All my slips and glazes are personally chosen from my vast array in my Jerusalem studio. They are lead-free and non-toxic. I research and test every glaze that I make to bring you the best, durable, and heirloom pieces.

Creating pottery is a slow and careful process. It cannot be hurried. After the actual designing and creating process, each piece goes through a thorough and accurate drying, firing, cooling, glazing and finally a 2nd and sometimes even 3rd firing.

I believe in the highest level of customer service. Sending a gift? I can gift wrap it and add your personal note, and send it direct to the recipient. Need an item personalized (or a lot of them), convo me. Custom orders energize me.

Take your time browsing through my shop. Remember, I create ceramic memories for you and your family.
